What is Destination Imagination?  DI is an international program that strives to prepare our children to be innovators, critical thinkers, and leaders by combining the arts, sciences, and technology with creativity, teamwork, and problem solving.  Student-driven teams of 2 to 7 work under the guidance of a volunteer parent coach to select a challenge and figure out a solution to present at a tournament, all while having fun and establishing lifelong friendships.

We are looking for a chairperson for this amazing program. Contact Andrea McCullough if you are interested.

Volunteer Opportunities:
  • Serve as the chairperson for this program.
  • Serve as a Team Manager or Team Co-Manager
  • Get trained as a DI appraiser.

Work typically begins in October-November and ends in mid-March after the Jeffco Regional Tournament (or mid-April if your team qualifies for the State Tournament!). The number and length of meetings depends on the needs and desires of the team and Team Manager(s).
