Prospect Valley’s in-school postal service! The USPS created this program in 1990 to promote literacy, basic writing skills and education of the postal service within elementary schools. Students in the 4th and 5th grades will run the weekly program with supervision. Students, faculty, parents and other family members are highly encouraged to write letters to other children and staff using this school-wide communication system! We will advertise prompts for each week to encourage kids to write letters to different people in their lives. Kids love receiving letters with their names on them so the more the merrier!
Please watch the weekly Flash newsletter for information about this program or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to answer any questions.
